Thanks so much for trialling the Busy Bee Mastery Learning Folder. Please call me for a chat if you haven’t already done so.
Listed below are the flashcard options for the trial. Take a look at the flashcards and print off one set. For the purposes of the trial, select just one area (but in everyday use later on, topics can be combined). Pre-test your child then enter your contact information, trial learning area and pre-test results on the Start Form.
Remember that 5-10 minutes sessions four times a week is ideal. Don’t stress if you have to adjust the number of sessions in a week due to family commitments but remember that the overall goal is to complete 20 sessions in the month. Sessions should be short and relaxed – make use of the bee motif for younger children eg the bee is off to collect pollen, now it has to take it back to the hive, off to the next flower etc. Also, repetition is the key, not the duration of the session.

Choose this option if your child has a list of words from school to learning weekly. You or your child will write their words onto the blank template. They will then use the “Look, Say, Cover, Visualise, Write & Check” method to learn to spell the word on each flashcard.
